Dr. Karen Thomas Honored

Dr. Karen Thomas, known at Noah’s Ark as “Doc T,” was recently rec­og­nized as one of the 2010 11 Alive Com­mu­nity Ser­vice Award win­ners.  Each year 11 Alive in Atlanta rec­og­nizes eleven com­mu­nity vol­un­teers for their ded­i­cated ser­vice to agen­cies, orga­ni­za­tions and indi­vid­u­als in the metro Atlanta com­mu­nity. Noah’s Ark was invited to sub­mit a nom­i­nee, and “Doc T!” was the imme­di­ate response.  Read her nom­i­na­tion

In addi­tion, she was also rec­og­nized on April 29 as Noah’s Ark’s Vol­un­teer of the Year at the 10th Annual Henry Vol­un­teer Recog­ni­tion Din­ner. Con­grat­u­la­tions, Doc T, you deserve these honors!
