Thank you for your interest in providing items for Christmas and throughout the year for the Noah’s Ark Children’s Care Home. We are licensed to provide foster care for up to 24 children. However, we are getting very few state referrals at this time, as is true for all basic care residential care homes in Georgia. We are doing some respite care and private referrals. Some of the children are here very temporarily (maybe a night or a weekend), some may be more long term. Having said that, we can’t predict how many children we will be serving at any one time. We may have one child, two, four or a dozen. Our mission remains to help children in any and every capacity that we can. For these reasons — we will not provide specific, personal wish lists for children for Christmas, etc.
- Picnic tables
- Poster board for school projects
- Good push mowers and weedeaters for the summer
- Paper plates
- Plastic ware (spoons, knives, forks)
- Laundry detergent
- Army cots or other camping cots for children
- Grocery store gift certificates
- Fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables
- Colored copy paper (any color)
- Used ink cartridges (HP, Dell, Brother, Canon, Epson, Kodak, Lexmark) for recycling/credit
- Toilet Paper
- Canned goods, any kind of non-perishable food items
- Batteries — AA, C & D cell
- Non-expensive birthday gifts for boys/girls, all ages
- Stuffed animals
