Fitness time!
By
Noah’s Ark has embraced fitness, from the top down. Founder/Director Jama Hedgecoth began a fitness
program at the Ark some time ago with some unwanted exercise machines from a fitness center that closed. Things never really got off the ground, however, until Reggie Hildreth began to volunteer at Noah’s Ark. Among his other skills, Reggie is a personal trainer — and a good one. He began to work with Jama and the staff. Jama began in earnest in mid April and has dropped over 30 pounds — and plans to run in the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta this year.
“It’s been very good for our staff — in terms of both fitness and team building,” says Jama. If you are interested in being part of this fitness program for a reasonable fee, please call Noah’s Ark at 770–957-0888 and ask for Diane. We like to call it “Stepping out of the boat into fitness!”
