Volunteer

Thank you for your inter­est in vol­un­teer­ing for Noah’s Ark. We could not pro­vide the high level of care we do to our chil­dren and ani­mals with­out our volunteers.

There are sev­eral vol­un­teer oppor­tu­ni­ties at Noah’s Ark. These needs may change sea­son­ally or as spe­cial projects arise, so check back peri­od­i­cally to see if there is a vol­un­teer oppor­tu­nity for you! Please com­plete this appli­ca­tion and indi­cate your inter­ests, skills, etc. and we’ll be in touch!

Please note: Because of the sen­si­tive nature of pro­vid­ing care for our chil­dren and our desire to pro­vide them as much pri­vacy and dig­nity as pos­si­ble, we gen­er­ally do not allow one-on-one vol­un­teers with the chil­dren in our Chil­dren Care Homes. We will list vol­un­teer oppor­tu­ni­ties with the chil­dren as needed below.

SPECIAL VOLUNTEER NEED — We are  look­ing for some expe­ri­enced fencers to vol­un­teer at the Ark — for some help with chain link and hog fencing.

Mom’s — We have the per­fect vol­un­teer oppor­tu­nity for you! We need vol­un­teers to mon­i­tor our play­ground to ensure pub­lic safety. Please email dsmith@noahs-ark.org if you are inter­ested in vol­un­teer­ing. Avail­able days/times are Tuesday-Saturday from 10:00 — 3:00 p.m.

SPECIAL NEEDS: Noah’s Ark needs a vol­un­teer to repair our golf carts. We have sev­eral that are out of com­mis­sion that we believe just need the TLC of an expe­ri­enced vol­un­teer! Please con­tact Diane at dsmith@noahs-ark.org. Thank you!

We are in need of a vol­un­teer exter­mi­nat­ing ser­vice on a monthly basis. We are also look­ing for a vol­un­tary lawn­care ser­vice com­pany to assist with mow­ing our grounds. Please con­tact noah@noahs-ark.org

Small engine and lawn mower repair We have some lawn mow­ers, and we have lawn mower parts — what we don’t have is some­one that knows how to fix our mow­ers when they stop work­ing!
