WELCOME

Welcome to Noah’s Ark!

We are a non-profit dedicated to providing sanctuary for injured, abused and orphaned exotic, wildlife and domestic animals. Located on 250 acres in Locust Grove, GA, we are neither a zoo nor humane society, but a sanctuary dedicated to the care and treatment of animals. We’re so glad you’ve come to learn more about us and our animal family.

Would you like to support the Ark? It costs $33,000 per month to feed, treat and care for our animals, which is funded entirely by your generous donations. There are several easy ways to support the Ark:

  1. Make a one-time or recurring donation (tribute donations are also accepted).
  2. "Adopt an Animal" which means you're buying food and/or supplies for the animal.
  3. Volunteer
  4. Make a donation for a new habitat for Zuri (shown below).

One of our most critical needs is a new habitat for Zuri.

Zuri is a white Bengal tiger who faces many of the health concerns most inbred animals do. It is inhumane to create unhealthy animals simply for our enjoyment or for profit, which is what drives the market for white tigers. Although Zuri was born normal looking on the outside, she has an incredibly weak immune system and was near death when she came to live at Noah’s Ark. Zuri is now healthy enough to join the rest of the animals at the Noah’s Ark habitats, but needs a habitat of her own because she will likely always need some sort of medical treatment because of her poor genetics and low immune system.

A new habitat that includes decks/platforms, toys, a creek and multiple dens to protect Zuri's sensitive skin from the sun will cost roughly $75,000. We're asking all our supporters to help cover the costs by sponsoring different sections of the habitat. You can do so below.

Did you know white tigers are not naturally occurring animals in the wild? White tigers are inbred and for every one normal, healthy one, more than 100 are horribly deformed and sick and are euthanized as a result.
