About Noah’s Ark
Noah’s Ark is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care and treatment of animals, including exotics, wildlife, and domestic livestock. We provide species-appropriate habitats designed with the animals’ best interests in mind—environments that closely resemble their natural settings. Through our work, Noah’s Ark promotes humane, responsible, and informed animal care and ownership.
Noah’s Ark is a 121-acre sanctuary for abused, neglected, and unwanted animals. Our beautiful park-like setting has paved pathways to guide your family on an enjoyable day out. So, put on your walking shoes, pack a lunch, and come spend the day with us!
Our History
Founded and filed as a 501(c)(3) in 1990, Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary was given a generous donation of land and resources from the McCamish Foundation (2003), and allowing the current facility to be built in Locust Grove, GA. The sanctuary has provided refuge for over 100 species of animals over the years. Our large natural enclosures allow us to provide homes to many large and exotic animals, as well as provide forever homes to native wildlife and farm animals in need of specialized care through nutrition, medical support, and enrichment.
