Guidelines

•Proper attire, including shirts and shoes, must be worn at all times while on Sanctuary property.
Noah’s Ark reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that is considered inappropriate or that could detract from the safe, family-friendly experience of other guests. Attire that is not appropriate includes, but is not limited to:
-Clothing and/or exposed tattoos with obscene language or graphics
-Clothing that exposes excessive portions of the body that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment.
•Show common courtesy for other guests and staff by not using profanity or engaging in disruptive or offensive behavior.
•Children under the age of 17 must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.
•If you see items or unusual behaviors on the grounds that you think are questionable, please speak up! Alert any staff member.

Noah’s Ark’s Service Animal Admittance Policy meets the requirements defined by law under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Noah’s Ark’s Service Animal Admittance Policy defines service animals as dogs for an individual with a disability. Emotional support animals and other animals are not permitted on Sanctuary grounds. Due to the nature of some Sanctuary areas, service animals may not be permitted in some areas. If you have a pet with you, please inquire about our boarding services at the time of check-in.

Violation of any City, County, State or Federal law.
Possession, use, or selling of illegal drugs. Noah’s Ark is a drug-free environment.
Soliciting on Noah’s Ark property.
Engaging in any unsafe act or other act that may result in injury to self or others or impede the operations of the Sanctuary.
Smoking of any kind, including e-cigarettes and other products that produce a vapor or smoke, is prohibited on Noah’s Ark’s grounds and public parking lots by Noah’s Ark and a Henry County Ordinance.
Operation or use of any unmanned aerial vehicle on, from, or above Noah’s Ark’s premises without specific written consent; this includes all UAVs, also commonly known as drones, regardless of their size, weight, or purpose.
Amplified music is prohibited without written authorization from Noah’s Ark. As a courtesy to others, guests must use headphones, ear buds, etc., when listening to music.

For the safety of the animals and our guests, the following actions are prohibited:
Intentionally aggravating or endangering animals in any way, including shouting at or around animals.
Feeding animals unless on an authorized Noah’s Ark program or experience which permits feeding.
Throwing items at animals or into animal habitats.
Injuring Sanctuary animals or native wildlife on Noah’s Ark property.
Entering any animal habitat or non-public area unless on an authorized Noah’s Ark program or experience.
Crossing any animal exhibit barrier for any reason.
Entering any non-public area without authorization from Noah’s Ark.
Should you accidentally drop a personal item into an animal area, please alert the nearest Noah’s Ark staff member, volunteer or visit our gift shop staff for assistance. Do not attempt to retrieve any items yourself or assist others in retrieving items.

Let us know if you have concerns about being included in Sanctuary photography/videography.
By visiting the Sanctuary, you acknowledge and consent to our photographing, filming, recording, or otherwise reproducing your image and/or voice (or that of any minor for whom you serve as legal guardian) and for using the same for any purpose, without payment.
Take pictures and videos for personal use in public areas using natural light, and in a way that does not interrupt the Sanctuary experience for other guests, or cause alarm or injury to our animals. Commercial photography and commercial use of photographs or video taken by you during your visit are prohibited without prior written consent of Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary. Attempting to enter animal enclosures, crossing established habitat barriers, and harassing animals are actions now punishable by law pursuant to Georgia State law O.C.G.A §16-7-21.2, Criminal Trespass Involving a Wild Animal, and may result in felony charges.
Laws under this category typically make it a criminal offense to trespass into enclosures housing wild or dangerous animals (esp. lions, bears, or wolves) at zoos, sanctuaries, or private facilities.
Individuals are in violation of Harassment or Provocation of Wild Animals if they:
Enter restricted areas with the intent to film, taunt, provoke, or interact with wild animals.
Violate biosecurity or animal welfare protocols, especially at accredited sanctuaries or wildlife refuges.

For the security and safety of Noah’s Ark’s team members, guests, animals and property, Noah’s Ark’s is following all governmental and public health guidelines and is implementing additional measures and protocols to promote a safe environment. All visitors are expected to adhere to current public guidelines for self-care and social distancing at all times throughout their Noah’s Ark visit.
Noah’s Ark reserves the right to deny admission, or require a person already admitted to leave Sanctuary grounds, without refund, liability or compensation if we consider that the circumstances so require.
Noah’s Ark reserves the right under Georgia Code 44-1-33 to tow any improperly parked or abandoned vehicle on Noah’s Ark’s property at the owner’s expense.
