Critter Fun Day

Join us for the morning at this program geared towards our junior animal keepers! Participants will receive a guided tour throughout our habitats, complete with a talk from an Animal Keeper. They will learn about the animals, their feeding habits, and how we keep our favorite friends entertained.

Second Saturday of the month, 9-12 am. Ages 4-12 $25 per child

For the safety of all, there is absolutely no personal contact allowed with the animals. This policy is strictly enforced.

    Meet in the gift shop. Please plan to arrive a few minutes to meet your guide

    $25 per child. Pre-registration and payment is required. One adult admission allowed per child.

    We will be walking and potentially getting dirty. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, and comfortable, weather appropriate clothing!

  • This 3-hour session is sure to engage and excite your child about saving wildlife. Participants will be given a guided tour and can expect to meet a member of the Animal Care Team, who will be available to answer all your questions! We will meet an animal, learn about our enrichment programs, and end our morning with a special barnyard friend . All participation in WOW tours is voluntary for the animals. For your safety and the safety of the animals, there will be no direct interaction with the animals during the tour and touching them will not be permitted.

    Specifications: Our WOW tours are not handicap accessible due to uneven terrain. The average walking distance during the tour is __________________.

  • All Critter Fun Day guests are expected to adhere to our NAAS Rules of Conduct, found here.

    Refunds will not be issued for no-shows.

    Cancellations received more than 7 days before the scheduled visit will be rescheduled.

    Reschedule requests received less than 7 days before your scheduled program date will incur a 10% reschedule fee.

    Guests will receive a refund or be rescheduled due to rain.

    We ask all WOW tour participants to view the brief health screening before coming to the Sanctuary for your encounter. If you or members of your party are feeling unwell, please visit us another time.
