Our Walk on the Wildside Tours are your chance to experience our residents up close and personal!

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to care for exotic animals? Are you interested in meeting the Animal Care Team and having a WOW moment with wildlife? Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary WOW tours provide the perfect opportunity to meet and greet some of your favorite residents all while learning more about their history, how we care for them, and the ways sanctuaries work to save animals that would have no other place to go.

Days Available: April 15- November 1. Cost: $125 per person for private tours. $75 per person for semi-private tours. Ages 10 and up

  • Days Available: April 15- November 1

    Tours are available 7 days a week based on tour guide availability.

    Times: 9:30 am- private tour (up to 5 people)

      11 am semi-private tour (up to 10 people)

    * All Monday tours are private tours. Private tours occur when the sanctuary is not open to the public. Semi-private tours are offered during open hours, and anyone may sign up.

    Due to warm weather, all tours from May 1 to Aug 31 will be private tours at 9:30 am only. During the warmest part of the day, our animals tend to be less active. We want to be sure our WOW tour participants get to experience all our residents.

    Duration: approx 1.5 hrs

  • These tours vary in length and are sure to engage and excite you about saving wildlife. Participants can expect to meet members of the Animal Care Team, meet an animal, learn about our enrichment programs, and walk away with a keepsake and knowledge of how you can help us with our mission. All participation in WOW tours is voluntary for the animals. For your safety and the safety of the animals, there will be no direct interaction with the animals during the tour and touching them will not be permitted.

    Specifications: Our WOW tours are not handicap accessible due to uneven terrain. The average walking distance during the tour is __________________.

    • Children must be 10 years old and up to participate in private tours. 

    • Children 17 years old and under must be accompanied by a ticketed adult in their group.  

    • Admission is included with your WOW tour. 

    • We ask all WOW tour participants to view the brief health screening prior to coming to the Sanctuary for your encounter.

    • If you or members of your party are feeling unwell, please visit us another time. 

      Some behind-the-scenes and encounter spaces may not be fully accessible, due to uneven terrain and tight spaces. Accommodations vary depending upon the program.     • All WOW tour guests are expected to adhere to our NAAS Rules of conduct, found here.

      • 50% deposit is required at time of reservation.

      • Refunds will not be issued for no-shows.

      • Cancellations received more than 7 days before the scheduled visit will be rescheduled.

      • Reschedule requests received less than 7 days prior to your scheduled program date will incur a 10% reschedule fee, based upon the total cost of your reservation.

      • Guests will receive a refund or be rescheduled due to rain.

      • In the event of extreme or inclement weather conditions, within 15 minutes of the start time, you will be contacted by your tour guide and offered the opportunity to reschedule. We ask all WOW tour participants to view the brief health screening before coming to the Sanctuary for your encounter.
